Can't click on refrigerator/stove

I've installed Sims 4 and DLC + updates up to the most recent patch, and I'm suddenly unable to click on the refrigerator or stove to select any options. My sims can still go up both items and interact with them autonomously or when I click on their hunger-need bar, but when I click on the objects themselves, the interaction choices just don't show up. It's honestly so inconvenient, because I can no longer tell my sims to go cook and clean out the spoiled food, etc., and I can only use the grill to cook now. I've tried deleting and replacing both objects a few times, I've tried closing/restarting the game, restarting my computer, but nothing fixes it. I've also moved this household to other lots, but the problem seems to follow them. Oddly enough, I created another household and the refrigerator/stove seems to work fine there. But if I download the household that originally had the problem to a whole new game, the problem returns. I would love any suggestions/help I can get to solve this.

Doesn't it show any interactions at all or do you see empty "text-balloons".

It doesn't show any interactions at all, unfortunately. None of the "text balloons" pop up like they do with any other object.

What did you use to install the game? G4TW releases? Because files that are under "hash mismatch" were updated in Seasons release. It seems that you just copied EP05 folder and nothing else. You need to copy everything from Seasons and then everything from Update 1.44.83.1020.

I did copy Seasons as well as the Update 1.44.83.1020. But I also did just realize that I may have mixed up my downloading order and copied the files from the Update 1.42.30.1020 after I copied Seasons. So should my next steps be to recopy Seasons and the Update 1.44.83.1020?

@Exceler8r Delete "Game" and "Game_" folders, apply Seasons and Update 1.44.83.1020 again.

Thanks @anadius1. It appears that it fixed my issue of not being able to use the fridge and oven.
I re-ran the Validator and now I get the following:

Where did you get your Seasons from? Because you're still missing files.
If you downloaded it from official G4TW releases you can right click in your torrent client and select "check files" or some similar option.
Or you can download and install Seasons using my alternative installers.
Edit: I'll send you missing files in PM.
"game/bin/graphicscards.sgr" hash mismatch, missing "game/bin/orangeemu.dll" and unknown "game/bin/core/winhttp.dll" can be safely ignored.

Missing Game\Bin\Orangeemu.dll can only be ignored when you have 64-bits windows and play the game via Game\Bin\TS4_x64.exe
