MSVCP120.dll is missing. [SOLVED]
Hello all!
So I just re-installed the Sims 4 all in one back to my laptop after having formated, and I got this error when trying the run the game. What does it mean and what do I have to do? Do I have to download any fixes?
Thanks in advance for any help
P.S. I dont have the electronic arts folder in my documents

You need to install "Visual C++ Redistributable".
Go to "__Installer\vc\vc2010sp1\redist". If you have 32-bit system install "vcredist_x86.exe", if 64-bit, install "vcredist_x64.exe".
Go to "__Installer\vc\vc2013\redist" and do the same.
And just to be safe install "__Installer\vp6\vp6install.exe".
All paths are relative to your game installation folder.

Actually, even if you have a 64-bit Windows it's recommended to install both vcredist_x86 and vcredist_x64.
@wylliebee, see also this here, if it doesn't work.

If I'm not mistaken you can extract the files anywhere, not necessarily into Program files.

Normally under Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4. Maybe you have "OneDrive" active?

It will be in Documents once you successfully run the game.

Re: MSVCP120.dll is missing. [SOLVED]
Solved! Turns out you have to extract the files first before completing the steps on installing vcredits64. I extracted the files in programfilesx86, where I used to have my files last time I downloaded. I don't know about extracting anywhere else though. I had to extract the files using winrar and not powerISO, cause everytime I tried extracting the files with powerISO there's always an error that does not allow me to complete the extraction. Then after all is done, the electronic arts folder popped up in my documents. So all is good thanks everyone!

I think you could have also started these vcredist-files, directly from the .ISO. But either way, glad to hear you managed to get around the problem. Have fun! Problem solved, topic closed.
