"OrangeEmu.dll: Hello :)" - Windows 10 Help?
I just bought a brand new pc w/ Windows 10 Home and I went to install sims 4 yesterday. The way I downloaded and installed the game on my Win8 pc is the same way I did it for my new one... I followed everything to a T.
I didn't test it yesterday, but today I wanted to try it but I keep on getting an "OrangeEmu.dll" error message when I go to run the TS4.exe app.
I already have my WinDefender deactivated and both TS4 apps set to be allowed by firewall. I don't know what to do so Im coming here for help!

Most probably OrangeEmu.dll has been de-activated prior to your switching off of Windows defender.
1. Make sure your install folder is in the exclusions of your Anti-Virus program
2. Download the crack OrangeEmu.rar HERE and place it within your install folder The Sims 4\Game\Bin
3. Then rightclcik on the winrar file and select extract here.
Or, when you have 64-bits Windows, start the game with TS4_x64.exe instead of TS4.exe

Actually creators of this crack (CODEX group) recommend to block it in firewall so it doesn't have internet access (you can't download anything from Gallery anyway). If that doesn't help, dammydeer said here that turning virtualization off in your BIOS/(U)EFI solves the problem.

FIXED! Thanks so much. I got an error message before that said Origin is still running (even though I don't have that installed) but it loaded up anyway. Thanks again!
