Sims wont sleep
Hey there I have all the expansions and the newest update 1.46 but my sims wont stay asleep I have looked around for solutions and have tried:
*Re buying the beds
*Taken out my mods folder
*Having my sims go to different lot
*Moved my sims out of the house and back
Its really annoying and I'm not sure where to go from here, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Sims wont sleep
I made a .md5 file but I'm not sure if I did it correctly, when is asks for the Sims 4 directory it means the Program files not the Documents, right? I feel like such a noob for asking .

Re: Sims wont sleep
Yup, it needs "The Sims 4" folder from Program Files. If .md5 is done correctly it will take second to generate result. If it's not, it will do the job in browser. So no need to cancel.

Re: Sims wont sleep
Try deleting "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\localthumbcache.package" file. And make sure you have no mods in "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods" folder. If that doesn't help rename "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4" folder to something else. Game will recreate this folder, you can copy your saves into it later. But first try if your sims can sleep.

Re: Sims wont sleep
Okay so I deleted the thumbchache and it didnt help, but changing the sims 4 folder did fix it I made a new sim and put them in bed and they slept. Yay! But then when I put my saved sims back in and played, same problem with sleeping.

Re: Sims wont sleep
Sounds like a corrupted save. You could try moving them to library and back (go to CAS using drawer/mirror and there will be an option to do it), no idea if this will help though.

Re: Sims wont sleep
Darn that's what I was afraid of, I'm really hoping this works because it is one of the families I've invested quite a bit of time into
