No mod folder in "The Sims 4"

I just started to download mods, however in my Sims 4 there hadn't been a mod folder. I tried creating a mod folder and put all my mods inside it, however they aren't showing up in my game even after restarting the game. Is there a fixed mod folder to download or should i reinstall Seasons and the update 1-44-88-120?

You put mods in "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods", not in your game installation folder.
