Sims 4 has stopped working.
Hi!
So, today I installed Sims 4 + All Add-On's on my computer.
It worked perfectly and without lags, etc.
After a while I got the stupid idea to add some of my old CC to the game.
The game started and showed every CC without problem.
But after 5 minutes of playing the game crashed and showed "The Sims 4 has stopped working."
I tried to create a new game, but after exiting CAS I got the same error.
I removed all CC, and deleted the whole document folder.
But it still gives me the same error.
Can I save my game or do I have to re-install it? (It took 7 hours for me to install it..)

Re: Sims 4 has stopped working.
Try to rename the folder Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 in The Sims 4_old, and restart the game.

Re: Sims 4 has stopped working.
Reboot computer and delete "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4" again. If that doesn't help, run validator and post the result here.

When you removed the Documents folder and started the game again, did you see all these "Welcome screens" for each and every DLC again ?606y wrote:Hi!

If not, then you removed the wrong folder.

Re: Sims 4 has stopped working.
Did that. It showed the DLC info-thing. But still crashes with the same error.
I made a .md5 data of my Sims 4 directory, like in the tutorial. (It's 130KB)
When I try to "upload" it, it doesn't do anything.

Re: Sims 4 has stopped working.
Use Chrome or Firefox. In first file picker select .md5 file, in second select game installation folder. It should show result immediately if .md5 was created correctly.

Re: Sims 4 has stopped working.
Alright, did it now. First off, I'm using the "Fitgirl Repack" for the base game + a few DLC's. So, I added the others from this site, like I said I had no problems with that before.
