Problem with CC hair and eyes in new 1.47 patch

Seems there's a huge problem with CC hair and eyes in the new patch. The swatches don't seem to change the hair or eye color. Some have reported that this is on hair with alpha, while other are reporting that the problem exists with default game hair as well. It's reported on the Sims 4 Studio forum that setting the "Valid for random" flag will fix the issue for most hair, but apparently that doesn't work for eyes.
 
Just thought I'd post a heads up just in case some of you are running into issues. It's making the rounds on the EA forum as well.

This is a glitch that has already been reported to EA and MAYBE it will be solved by the time they release the next expansion. However, there is a quick fix for that! It seems that the glitch only happens with hair and eyes that are Disallowed For Random... You will need Sims 4 Studio... Go to Content Management... and go down to Allow CC for Random apply this to the folder where you keep your cc hair and this should fix your glitch at least until EA comes out with a Fix!

So i found the Latest patch which came out on the 20th which helps with the following issues : 

• Your Sims will no longer grow old while they are in Creating A Sim.
  
  

• The bug in custom hair color change was fixed.
  
  
  
• The spot inks have been corrected and are displayed normally again.
  
  

however i have the .Iso version on the Laptop how would i go around updating it x.x 

If you mean the Tarac's all-in-one, just copy the content of the iso to your disk.
