Problem with custom hair in Sims 4 Empty Problem with custom hair in Sims 4

I have custom hair downloaded in my game, when I'm at CAS the hair looks fine, but when I go to play the game the hair looks wierd with brown stripes in it, and where it shows their mood and picture the hair is blue. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?  :$:

Have you tried other hair too ? My thought now is that the hairstyle you downloaded may have some "deficits". Also, are there any specific notes on the site you downloaded the hair from, like, e.g. that the hair might only work for a certain patch level ?

"Bad CC" can cause stuff like that; so for now, try another custom hair style. Good luck and keep us posted ! Smile

Hi Carlos, I think the issue is with the David Sims hair conversions.  The issue is with all of the custom hair now.  There are brown streaks and the hair on the icon of the sim is lue.  Not sure what's the problem, hope it's resolved soon. Problem with custom hair in Sims 4 Icon_sad

Yes, I figured that. Unless the creator of the CC actually figures out why the hair doesn't work (anymore), you will have to leave those hairstyles out and go for something different. Again, there is no use in trying to "squeeze" corrupted & incompatible CC into your game. I've seen this a lot in the past, with The Sims 3.

Yes, you may love a particular custom content item, but if it just doesn't work, skip it and play on.
