Store Content Missing Files. [SOLVED]

Sorry to bother if this is not the correct place to asked about this. Today I was attempting to download the sims 3 store content from 2012-2014. Many Of the links gave me an error to the affect that the rar files could not be found. I was going to wait a few days and try again in the hope that the issue would be resolved. However I came here and saw the message on the front page about the games4theworld.org web site having been abandoned.

I am wondering if there is are any alternatives to downloading store content?

On the games4theworld.org website there is also a torrent for the complete store, under the section "Downloads -> Games & Software". Maybe you did not want the entire store collection, or maybe you overlooked that particular torrent? Either way, that would have also done the trick.

And yes, we do not have control over the old website anymore.

I did see the link to the torrent while I was looking for an alternative link to the monthly updates. The wording of the "Complete store" lead me to believe the download was an all or none deal. Currently as I'm still repetitively new to sims 3 on pc, I am trying to add content to my game gradually so as to not be overwhelmed by all the different features at once. The monthly updates allow me to install only the store content released prier to the expansion I'm currently playing, which is why I prefer them.

Yes, the torrent is indeed (almost) like that. It contains 5 big .package files, all of which you are recommended to use. There are individual .package files for special buildings/lots though, plus individual .sims3pack files for each world. We have packed the torrent that way, with the idea in mind that most people want the entire content anyway. Plus, having these .package files makes installation of the store content a lot easier and faster, compared to just having .sims3pack files.
