Still cant use terrain paints in Laptop Mode :/ Empty Still cant use terrain paints in Laptop Mode :/

Even after that released patch, two patches later and I still can't use them.

When I click the terrain paint option, everything shows up but hovering over the ground I don't see the paint circle and it doesn't make any sounds. All I can do is just click around.

Go to Documents\Electronic Arts and move The Sims 4 folder to desktop. This will start the game fresh, you can move saves back later. If that doesn't solve the problem, run the validator (in quick scan mode) and post the result here.

Delete those files:
game/bin/python33.dll
game/bin/python33_x64.dll

And those folders:
GP04_
SP14_

No need to keep them, you've got just the language files inside.

did a doc folder reset & deleted those files, still not working sadly...  WhatDidUJustCallMe?

The validator report shows a number of 'missing files' though.  Looking for bad joke  @HelloLove98 I think it can be fixed by re-applying the G4TW...

- Toddlers/Vampires/Bowling (1.29.69.1020) Update
- then delete the "Game"-folder
- then re-apply My First Pet Stuff
- and to finish off re-apply the latest 1.48.94.1020 patch

If you know an easier method using your stuff @anadius, feel free add it in, or correct me if I'm wrong.

From renamed folders I assumed @HelloLove98 didn't want Vampires and My First Pet Stuff.

But if you want to install them, you can just download dlc-gp04-vampires.bin, dlc-sp14-my-first-pet-stuff.bin and _setup-1.48.94.1020.exe from my repack. That will be 625MB to download.

Yes, and on second thought, these 'missing files' all relate to DLCs, and the terrain paint tool is part of the base game updates (I think?). Which means it indeed could be a base game glitch...WhatDidUJustCallMe?
