Store Content fix: Mods/Overrides doesn't exist

Sorry if this has been answered before, I did search but didn't find anything. I have no mods/overrides folder, so do I simply go ahead and create one? The installation guide really isn't clear. The game is installed to the default file path, but that folder doesn't seem to be anywhere. 

I seem to have all .package files, if that makes any kind of difference.

P.S. I have installed the latest Ultimate Fix.

You need Frameworks to create the folder Mods and the folders Packages and Override in it.

Download Frameworks
Extract with Winrar
Place the folder Mods in C:\User\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3.

When you've done this correctly the intro-movie for the Sims 3 no longer shows up.

That's because these TS3 installation guides (at the time) were written by the old Admin, who seemingly did not find it necessary to have information about creating the Mods-framework directly inside these torrents. In other words: these installation guides simply do not deal with the aspect of installing mods and CC.

There is a good guide however on the old "games4theworld.org" website about this topic, plus resources on other sites. Though the previous commenter got it right already.
