do i need to roll back to version 1.67?

I have some of the games bought and i want to get the other games from this site but before i start to install them i wanted to know if i had to roll back the version of sims 3, mine is currently 1.69. The ones I have bought are from origin also is that a problem?

wont even let me install the 1.67  says there is no sims 3

My advice would be, that you get rid of your Origin TS3. Meaning that you should uninstall it, followed by a reboot of your computer. After that, install a fresh TS3 on version 1.67.

We have an "AIO" edition here, which should be easy to install:

Or you could also use the other "Complete Collection" on the download list, that has individual installers for each DLC. This will be useful in case you only want specific DLC. If you want everything right away, use the AIO-edition I mentioned and linked to, before.

There really is no advantage to playing a version 1.69 of TS3; the only thing that is different is the ability to turn off individual DLCs through the launcher - it has its usefulness for sure, but in my opinion mostly for people with very low-end computers. Other than that, you can't "mix and match" legit games with DRM-free versions (1.69 + 1.67) anymore. I think it's fair to say that one of the main reasons this patch was introduced, was to mess up pirates, so-to-speak.
