Don't know how to update TS4

Hi, idk where threads to ask this, but i have thesims4 from fitgirl, i really want to update my game, and i've download ts4update from here, my question, i really don't know what file should i 'click', pls help me. tysm.
My current version is 1.47.49.1020

Just extract "TS4_Update_1-48-94-1020.7z" to the folder where your game is. It should ask to replace files.

There is also an #Installation Guide.txt file, inside each of our downloads. Of course: you'll have to open the .rar/.7z/.iso file to find that file, which some new users may not know.

But the install guide is always there.

Reason why I, usually, not include instructions in my downloads but always publish such instructions in the very same topic that contains the downloadlink.

Reason why, as usual, your surrounding circumstances can't always be compared to G4TW.

Not everybody on The Piratebay automatically knows where to find the G4TW site/forums, if they grab stuff from there. We have stopped using TPB right now, but may start using it again in the future. People who grab stuff from the G4TW website may not know or care about the Forums. Again, we don't use the "games4theworld.org" anymore, but may use a new website in the future.

Sure the system has disadvantages in that future install guides may render old ones obsolete, but I still think having guides is the better alternative, than not having them. Plus: we include links to the Forum in the install guides, and encourage people to check up on these Forums as well.

And what if the website/forums go down one day, for good? Do you believe that they are going to freeze you one day, when your body decides to give up for good? Or that you will keep posting on here as some sort of Zombie? Or is it guaranteed that someone else will take over these Forums when the original people are not there anymore, etc. ?

Bad luck for people grabbing my downloads via other sources than my own website(s) or my contributions to the G4TW forum. I'm not keen on spotting direct-links in f.e. YouTube to just the download-location and not to my site. Such links will sooner or later result in a "404 file not found" error.

And yes, 2 of my co-administrators have full access to all my sites and are willing to maintain and pay for these sites. (of course I had, considering my age, to think about that long ago .
Reason also why I am gradually fading out my Weebly sites and incorporate these in tarac.nl.
The same question arises for G4TW when you and Ann decide to quit.
