game wont start orangeemu hello

i just downloaded the sims 4 strangerville all in one and when i try to start the game on windows 8.1 an orangeemu.dll pops up a hello screen then gives me the wont start error. i have tried all the solutions except one none of them work. the one i haven't tried is turning off vm emulation in bios because i am running it in qemu vm on linux mint 19.

are people just going to read the post or can i get some help gettin the game to work?

Add "(Linux, QEMU)" to the title and they won't even read it. Since you posted in Windows subforum (I know there is no subforum for Linux but still - people expect Windows, so they don't answer on something they don't know about).

And you said you didn't try one solution. Then try it. I have vm emulation turned off in bios but VirtualBox works fine. Probably slower then it would with that option turned on but it works. I know QEMU is different than VirtualBox so don't know if this will work. There's only one way to do - try it.

i turned off amd-v in my bios and the vm wouldn't even turn on. so the last option didn't work.

Then try using Wine.

i finaly got it running using the recomended zlorigin crack but the game runs really slow and laggy. like 15 frames a second slow. but i think that's a problem with my old pc and not the game.
