Sims crashing after Strangerville update

Hi all,

I just downloaded the new Strangerville update and extracted/installed it the same as previous patches but when i open the ts4_x64.exe, the plumbob spins, goes black, and closes before i could hit play. I downloaded the Get Famous pack from Games4theworld, and that has been working great, but my game file in Program Files is named The Sims 4 Seasons because I originally downloaded the rest of the packs from a different torrent. I tried renaming the folder to The Sims 4, but then the program wouldn't open at all. Does anyone know how i might be able to amend this? Would i have to uninstall and reinstall everything all over again?

Go to Documents\Electronic Arts and move The Sims 4 folder to desktop. This will start the game fresh, you can move saves back later. If that doesn't solve the problem, run the validator and post the result here.
