Disciplining pets issue in The Sims 4

Hello,
I have had this issue since the patch before Strangeville (that's when I noticed it anyway).
My sims cannot discipline their pets, I have tried with several sims from different households and I even started a new game just to see if it was the loaded game's bug, to no avail.
I have had two different households with dogs and neither can discipline, I have no other issues with the game, it's like the option is gone from the game.

Anyone have a solution for this? I really like to play with pets and not being able to discipline them when they misbehave is tough.

Maybe it's your mods?

Go to Documents\Electronic Arts and move The Sims 4 folder to desktop. This will start the game fresh, you can move saves back later. If that doesn't solve the problem, run the validator and post the result here.

I had previously removed all mods and tried without, but still didn't work.
However, like you wrote, moving the entire The Sims 4 folder and starting the game fresh fixed the problem. I moved the folder back, excluding my saves and it still worked, so the problem is in the saves.

Now I just have to figure out which one of the saves is the one causing the issue.
