Mixing multiple EPs with g4tw EPs.

Hello! 

Please forgive that i'm sure this may be like obvious but i've never done this kind of thing before with non-legit forms of the game and the searching I was doing wasn't helping me.


I have 3 or 4 legit expansions and game packs plus legit base game, if i were to say download the expansions i didn't have so far, would that cause any issues with the existing packs I have? I know a lot of people will do a legit base game and just get all the expansions from G4TW so i was curious. Also if it made launching the game different? 

Also,if I did download the other expansions would I lose my current saved games?

I apologize again I'm sure these things have been answered before somewhere along theline but my searching didn't really help very much so even just a nudge in the right direction would be super helpful. Thank you very much!

Welcome to the Forum first of all,

I would basically recommend that you keep the Origin installation and the cracked installations completely separate. If you "apply cracked DLCs on top of Origin"...that would work out in theory, but you won't be able to benefit anymore from the Gallery-access.

So I would recommend you grab somewhere an all-in-one version of The Sims 4, and install that one. The bold green notice at the beginning of this thread may help give you a first indication:

The cracked game must be launched with Origin completely logged off & closed (even the log-in prompt!!), and by going under the folder where you installed it. Then under Game\Bin, and finally one of the .exe files: TS4.exe or TS4_x64.exe. The latter only when your operating system is 64-bit.

Savefiles will always remain under C:\Users\(your Windows account name)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4. If you now install a cracked (all-in-one) Sims 4, and continue playing with it, there should be no special measures for you to take. If you start up the cracked game, your old saves should simply be there.
