Mod "support" for this pirated version?

Hello everyone, so I've downloaded and played with the origin version of the sims 4 base game for a few days now like a lot of other people and discovered the magic of cc. I was wondering if I can download and play with mods if I decide to download dlc's from this website? I remember reading you couldn't install mods with the pirated version a few years ago but I can't find any info about it through the search function or google 

You can use mods. I have been for years now.

Like the previous commenter here said.    Just make sure that the mods you use are compatible with the patch version of your current cracked Sims 4 game.

I don't assume you can at least vaguely tell, where you read that mods can't be used on these cracked games? Let's keep in mind that most if not all of these mod creators have a very specific agenda, to discourage piracy of The Sims 4, for a variety of reasons. That includes *not telling the truth* about pirated games: such as the fairy tales about virus-laden cracked games, that mods do not work, etc. 

When asking for support about cracked games, be aware that most mainstream platforms discourage piracy.
