Sims 3 Midnight Hollow all the textures are discolored and low detail. Empty Sims 3 Midnight Hollow all the textures are discolored and low detail.

Midnight Hollow downloaded from site is all discolored (purple, green splotches). Anyone know how to fix this?

Hello and welcome to the G4TW Forums @Pimble,

Do you experience the issue only with Midnight Hollow, or with any of the other Sims 3 worlds? Did you make sure to extract the contents of the archive file/download, with the program WinRAR?

Also, can you post some system specs of your computer, like the graphics card type, RAM, CPU, and so forth. It could give us some indicator on what could be wrong.

Another thought, closely related to the previous paragraph. How many other DLCs (expansions and stuffpacks) do you currently have installed on your computer? Keep in mind that if your computer is not strong, having too many DLCs running "on" your game can also affect game performance negatively.

Do you also know how to update graphics drivers, and if so, have you tried that possibility already?
