Hello guys, I am abit too angry.
So i had already a Sims 4 Version 1.0.797.20 , That didnt have alot of features so i decided to get the latest version of the game. So i downloaded it from your website from your own website . It was freaking 8.3GB, nvm that was fine and I downloaded it, and when i installed it it Said it has Version :- 1.0.797.20 . I got freaked out, i wasted my time downloading the same version, so i looked on your website on how to update the game to the latest, I found some links but when i open the links the posts are already deleted, I want to update my game to the latest version, can anyone give me the link to the ultimate fix or the basegame patch for it please? I really do not want to waste my internet this time, Give me legit stuff please, Please!

I have no idea of where you got your download from, since G4TW Club downloads are featured here and have been for a long time. Second, all our featured downloads for games work and are exactly what has been announced and may be install without problems. i actually downloaded the game from your website only, as I am newly registered, i am not able to share links so lemme try it, the website is - Games4theworld*org/downloads
. Please replace * by '.' . i downloaded the game from there only. still is there any base patch available to update any older version to newer instead of downloading the whole game again?

That is an old website from the prior administrators. For future reference only download from this forum, since we post all updates and download links here. Good job!

There are 2 options I can suggest: To do the incremental patches following what you already have (however, I would not recommended, since it would be time consuming and you may have a corrupted game) The second option would be to download the ALL_ IN_ONE Game here: https://www.games4theworld.club/t35612-the-sims-4-all-in-one-1-58-69-1010-incl-university-ep-legacy-edition-files-by-sim-architect#

Remember: that you will download the normal one, not the legacy edition for 32 bits! The all in one gives you the advantage to start with a fresh full up to date game and you may apply our patches over it. since EA already launched a new patch as we speak. Slightly off-topic, but the grapevine told me that .org domains might be in trouble in the near future, because the prospective new owners are antagonistic towards piracy, and that's why The PirateBay are scrambling somewhat to move elsewhere, or use the onion-address more, or whatever. But either way, that website is or was run by an rogue ex-Administrator of G4TW, who ... let's say lost his mind. Smile

Also, normally these downloads are intended to be used "sequentially", so one after the other. And there are many updates:

If you really just wanted only the base game + updates, it's going to get too complicated. I would recommend that you check out Sim Architect's website and grab the "All-In-One" from there, or use other repackers. Feel free to search the internet.

You can also use the "Legacy Edition Patch", but it only goes to version 1.58.63.1020:

It's a little more than 6GB. But again, I've told you already we don't have a base game latest version only on G4TW here anymore. The reason is, barely anybody cared about the download. Almost all people in the year 2019 want the complete pack with DLCs.

I gave you a theoretical option, and you rejected it, and that's cool. But don't assume that I am suggesting things just to be "annoying to you". If we had other download alternatives available, we would have let you know by now, wouldn't we?

Maybe someone else will help you on that end.

You are not looking at the correct thread, go to the post on Sim Architect's website that says "All-In-One version 1.59.73.1020". The one that you saw...don't use, it's not going to work for your specific situation. But you can patch your desired update yourself by grabbing only those files that you need.

So load up the magnet link of Sim Architect's All-In-One. Wait until you get to the torrent preview. Then do as follows:

The Sims 4 => Data => Client - download all files inside "Client" except those ClientFullBuild*.package files.

If you correctly marked everything in your torrent preview then you should get a download in the size of 5.42 GB, which is not exactly optimal either. But it's basically like the old "Basepatch/Update-Only Ultimate Fix" that we used to have on here.

Again, slowly, do not download anything else from that All-In-One torrent, only those items that I specifically mentioned. You should end up with only having to download about 5.42 GB of data.

When you downloaded all these files, copy-paste them over your The Sims 4 base game. Replace existing files when prompted. Then use the dlc-toggler.exe and unmark all DLC, though I'm not 100% sure if that's really necessary.

Either way, if you correctly follow the steps I mentioned, you should only have the update for the basegame, version 1.59.73.1020. Smile

P.S. use the Game => Bin => TS4_x64.exe to start the game, in case you didn't know already.

I've inserted your screenshot into your message, thank you for posting it.

Your items are just slightly re-arranged compared to my situation, I use qBittorrent. You have to click on the tiny "+" symbol next to the folder, to unfold its subfolders.

So click on the "+" symbol next to the folder "Data" (and the rest of the folders I mentioned), and go from there.

Yes, I'm seeing it now as well. For some reason you seem to be missing the Soundtrack & Support folders. Forget about those, strictly speaking they aren't necessary for running the actual game.

Please try working with the items you do have, and report back later. Good luck!

If I may give some further advice, don't use uTorrent anymore in the year 2019 and beyond. Tixati, qBittorrent, Deluge or Transmission are better clients nowadays.

I am all set with the download with a total size of 5.17 GB when i selected all of the files you mentioned but the speed is totally ****, Speed hardly goes to 20 - 30 kbps while my net speed is aprox 10-15Mbps, any solution Sad

? any seeders?

Sorry to hear that, the best I can do is to tag @Sim Architect, maybe he knows more about it.

I myself downloaded an earlier version of the AIO torrent, and speeds were not so good for me either. It seems like the majority of people seeding the torrent are from North America or Brazil, so (theoretically) one could try using a VPN to connect to one of these countries. But I don't assume you have a VPN, so ...

We were thinking of putting up some direct download format of this thing, but please understand that these formats get taken down very easily, so I don't think there is much point in it.

Hi! I am only seeing this now, sorry.

If people don't help seeding the download speeds tend to be low, specially when my own computer is not on, sorry.

As of right now there's nothing else I can do, perhaps someday I'll be able to afford a seedbox or something like that.

Did you finish downloading? It's interesting that many people download the entire 50 GB without issues, I wonder what could be wrong.

Also, if you set your upload speed low your torrent client will indeed lower your download speed as well, it is the way the network rewards people who give more to others, you want to download more you need to seed more in exchange usually too, sorry. It works for the entire peer to peer network, not a feature of my specific torrent, I have no control over that, but the issue becomes more aparent when you're trying to download something with more demand than offer like @The_gh0stm4n mentions.

I have been using 80% of my entire bandwidth to seed since I released it everytime the PC is on (at least 16 hours a day usually).

I think one reason is the fact that the audience of that torrent is rather specific, in terms of geography. They're mostly from North America and Brazil. With torrents you can have a situation that when most peers are located in a specific geographic area, they will be "preferred", compared to people from other regions. To some extent I guess that can be mitigated by using a (good) VPN and connecting to the region where most peers are.

Other than that, because it frequently comes up. The reason it's a large(r) torrent is because we intended this torrent, or rather the format, to be used as some kind of file repository. So that in the future, people could load up the magnet, and just re-download certain parts of the torrent if they e.g. needed to repair the game or something.

Sorry again everybody, can't suggest much else either, than hanging tight, and waiting.

Please leave a comment on my website from the machine you're using to download, so I can prioritize your IP (I can see your IP privately if you comment there, that way I can "force unchoke" it to help if you want, do NOT share your IP publicly ever, though!!!).

The torrent is also useful for people who want to just update their game with the specific files that are missing or outdated. To do that, you stop the download (not now, but when you just finish allocating, otherwise you'd lose all new files, do NOT do that if you're already downloading for hours), then you overwrite the allocated "new" files with the ones you already have in your Sims folder, then you force recheck on your torrent client, then you resume downloading, so it will only get the files that are missing or different from what you already have
