Serial Numbers?

I am reinstalling The Sims 3 Complete Collection, and per the installation directions in each expansion, I should be prompted for a serial number, however, this is not actually happening. I am using WinRar to unpack the files, and then clicking on the exe file as instructed and WinRar appears to be installing, but I am not getting to a screen for an actual Sims 3 Installation. The base game did this, however the 2 expansions I have tried installing are not. Am I missing something? Also, should I be pasting the files from the download into any of the folders on my PC?

If my memory does not fail me now, I experienced a similar issue when I re-installed that item back then on my own PC. I just went ahead then, without entering the serial numbers. I do not recall anymore, however, with which DLCs that happened, I'm sorry. But I definitely remember that some DLC installers simply bypassed the prompt.

Nothing wrong then. If you don't need to type the serial number, then just proceed with the installer, and when you're done go to the next installer, etc.

I did not do anything special. Just extracted the stuff with WinRAR into a fresh folder on the Desktop somewhere, and ran the installers from within said Desktop folder.
