The Sims 4: Tiny Living Stuff.
...
I thought they were still in the process of fixing some aspects of the University DLC, now there is going to be another DLC? Yes, I heard about this "community vote" thing for the next stuffpack-theme, but still ... that seems a bit fast-paced to me.
Edit: after some research it seems the release date is on February 4th 2020.

Re: The Sims 4: Tiny Living Stuff.
I just saw this on youtube and came in here to see if someone had already seen it! You beat me to the punch! . I'm still working around bugs and the thought of a new DLC, well let just say it made me cringe . I saw the infamous Murphy bed, which probably means that we will have broken beds with the next DLC ?????The_gh0stm4n wrote:

Not sure if I would like that kind of living (in real-life), it would feel like a tuna can. Also, the article from SimsVIP breaks down some features of the new DLC:

Yes, you're right. I either misread something yesterday or the information was wrong from the start. January 21st is for PC + MAC, and February 4th is for the two consoles.

I saw the trailer and because i like building I got excited about it for a minute...then i realized how annoying the gameplay is in sims 4 and lost excitment lol. I honestly like tiny houses, it would be a cool challenge to do.
It's a shame I deleted sims 4 and haven't played it since university came out lol

No worries, when The Sims 5 comes out in 2022 or 2023, things will get better. Maybe. Hopefully?

Hopefully! I don't think so
By the way there is a contest to build tiny houses in sims 4 and 10 winners will get the stuff pack. You can find it on twitter.
https://twitter.com/SimGuruFrost/status/1214625870175825920
Trouble is though only people residing in 30 selected countries can enter, aaand my country isn't in it.... which is more probable considering there are 190+ countries out there and only 30 of them can enter.
When i read that, i felt so happy about pirating this game and getting it for free on the 5th year anniversary. It felt like saying s*ck it. It felt good. Not gonna lie.

After a little search, I found this here:
1. Eligibility. To enter The Sims 4 Tiny Living Contest (“Contest”):
- You must be a legal resident of Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada (excluding Quebec), Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Ukraine, United Kingdom, or the United States (including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico).
(...)

But yes, nothing really un-usual, just your usual bunch of Western(ized) countries. Though just from one initial glance I can spot one or two oddities. "Canada - excluding Quebec"? And they included Hong Kong, but not Taiwan...?
Geopolitical considerations surely play a role here. EA is still a U.S. based company. And, I'm not sure how widespread the game franchise is in predominantly Muslim-countries. Surely there are The Sims players as well, but I can imagine that in very conservative & influential Muslim circles (thinking here mostly of countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, etc), the gameplay that is portrayed in The Sims games might not "sit" all too well.
Local trade legislation or other legal restrictions can be another factor, even if a country is on friendly or neutral terms with the U.S. administration.
Then again, I'm probably thinking far too complicated here and there might be a much "simpler" reason for the inclusion or exclusion of certain countries, but which I cannot think of.

I think it's mostly just a matter of where they make the most money from/where the majority of EA's "legit" customers reside.

They tweeted this, "Due to local laws in Serbia we are not able to host contests/giveaways for that territory. Sorry!" https://twitter.com/SimGuruFrost/status/1214647926158282752
He copy/paste's it to people who complain that they cannot enter the contest. I'm sorry but I just don't buy this lie, like how I don't buy the game It might be correct in Quebec's case but c'mon like people who are trying to find food to live are gonna care enough to make some stupid contest law. Be realistic gurus!
Freezer Bunny (dunno how to @ you ), I think you're right. These are the countries they make the most money from and maybe they are the countries with those sims youtubers are mostly from also... curious
@The_gh0stm4n I think yes, some muslim countries may not approve of the game, I am not sure if it is banned or not sold in them. I would say China and North Korea are the only ones crazy enough to ban stuff like this, this is my humble opinion ofc. Though UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar are muslim looking they acturally have very good relations with USA. It's a money-oil relationship, religion is nothing compared to that, lol. It is possible that they don't let the public live as they like.
The problem with rest of the world is they are poor. They can't buy the game. So it doesn't matter if they can join the contest or not. If I was working for EA I would say this: "What are they (countries we deem don't matter) gonna do? Boycott EA? " I'm guessing these are what the gurus really talking about with eachother
It's fun to go into a little politics when we're arguing about a game basically aimed at 12 year olds

Which 'lie'? You mean the thing about Serbia not being among the 30 eligible countries in the contest?
If that's what you meant, then I guess it's basically what Freezer Bunny hinted at; so countries that are "potentially lucrative markets" for game publishers. Certain countries may indeed have a lower number of sales.
Plus keep in mind that as a result of the Yugoslav wars, Serbia has not been on good terms with U.S. administrations since then. Not necessarily saying relations are hostile, or that it even plays a role in this particular context. But I still would not classify Serbia as being particularly close to the US.
Unlike those other 30 U.S. proxies/vasalls eligible for participation in that contest. Or 29, if we decide to leave Switzerland out of the equation (I would classify them being at least 'balanced', in that regard).

Re: The Sims 4: Tiny Living Stuff.
@The_gh0stm4n That was a poorly chosen example, i realized it after i sent it but i couldn't edit my post. I meant this.
source: https://twitter.com/SimGuruFrost/with_replies
These are replies to people from Ireland, Mexico and Latin America. I understand that the law for western-ized countries can be true but I find it very hard to believe it is the reason for remaining 150 countries (if we assume there are 190 countries in the world, 30 are included, 10 are restricted by law)
I just don't buy it. There is another reason and I believe the reason as freezer bunny said, these are the countries they make the most money out of, local laws may apply to Italy, Turkey, Ireland but not the rest of the world. I am so curious about this I might start digging up the laws in the world, lol.

Re: The Sims 4: Tiny Living Stuff.
I used to live in Quebec (Canada) for a while, and this thing with the local laws also looks strange to me. The parliament of Canada once "declared" Quebec as kind of semi-autonomous province, but that was nothing more than a symbolic declaration.
I also get that EA wanted to do something special for the 20th anniversary of The Sims, but that strange contest is not a good way to do it. They almost make it look like this is some kind of big deal when they give out a dozen or so free copies of a mini-DLC. Yes, they say it's "about the community, not so much about the prize", but come on.
Apart from that super-awkward main announcement on Twitter where they failed to mention that just selected countries can enter, they are now scrambling to do damage control, by copy-pasting that canned response ("local laws"). It would have been better to be upfront and direct straight away, because it now just looks like they are desperately trying to appease the people who live outside these 30 countries.
The next issue I see is, aren't people gonna just end up arguing even more, when the winners are decided? I was like, people will just argue "why did their ugly house win, why didn't I win?". Yes I get it, it's a competition. But really, if I had a say, I wouldn't have started this PR-stunt in the first place. Because it's really just that: a PR-stunt.
Just my opinion.

I see people are getting upset about this weird contest, and certain limitations of the gameplay. May I propose - to anybody who hasn't done so already - to switch to the "dark side", of DRM-free games?
Just in case there are still people who don't know what this means, whenever we speak about "DRM-free games" here, it means cracked software.
Bunk beds surely would have fit nicely into the theme of Tiny Living, but what can I say ... now, before somebody comes again asking "will there be a crack for [insert the intermediary patch here that comes out 2-3 days before the actual DLC]", then the answer is no. As always.

Hello Simmers! Hope you all had a fantastic holiday season.
In today’s update we welcome you all to The Sims 4 Tiny Living Stuff pack; where your goal is to build the most comfortable space within the smallest footprint possible. Stretch your imaginative muscles as you figure out creative ways to cram in all you need! How low can you go?!
Besides preparing us for Tiny Living, in this update we have addressed a few issues as well as we have set aside quite some time for a new addition in our language roster, we are happy to announce that The Sims 4 is now supported in Simplified Chinese! We are very excited to release this to the public and further connect with Simmers in different languages across the world!
-SimGuruNinja, Ft. SimGuruRusskii
FIXES & UPDATES
The Sims 4
- Fixed an issue in which Hygiene was not being resolved when Taking a Shower on any Bathtub and Shower Combo.
- Fixed an issue in which the game would jump to Ultra Speed randomly when some Service NPC, specifically Maids, were on the Lot. Talk about speed cleaning!
- Resolved an issue related to Traveling that resulted in Error Codes: 109:8c87f108 and 106:69b9523b.
- Photo frames used within Gallery Uploads would not retain their chosen color once those lots were downloaded from The Gallery. They’ve been properly chastised and will listen to you now.
- Freelancer gigs can now complete and/or update accordingly while on Vacation. So if you want to work while you vacay I guess you can now. Sucker.
- Burned no longer The Child Statue (sculptTableMedium_EF22GENchild01_set1) will be.
- Inventory can be also be placed in, and live draggable no longer can be.
Fixed an issue where two “Tuck In” interactions were able to be selected when Children slept on any bed. Kids - so needy, amirite?
Get Together
- Toddlers will now route appropriately when selecting ‘Plan Outfit’ on Closets. Well, as appropriately as those slow little Sims move anyway.
Seasons
- Solved an issue with swimwear yfBody_EP05SwimRetro_PinkGreen that made it display incorrectly in certain Graphics Quality Settings. And no one wants a swimsuit malfunction!
Get Famous
- Actor Sims can now Check Open Auditions properly when returning from Work. Get that bread! Be a starving artist no more!
- Sims’ Acting Gigs Career Panel will now get updated properly on performing tasks. Credit for your work? Imagine that!
Discover University
- Sims will no longer see the option to remove Robo Arm when choosing to remove Computer Glasses.
- Fixed an issue in which the option to Pay Student Loans was available even though students had enough Simoleons to cover their Tuition.
- Sims can now be warned about losing scholarships if they choose to withdraw from the term. And they’re lucky to get a warning! Expel ‘em, I say (they don’t listen to me, though)!
- Some lots were unloadable in Britechester and made the game unresponsive. That should no longer be the case.
Outdoor Retreat
- A visual issue was resolved where highlighting the Granite Falls Blossom would result in a strange texture. This however only was affecting Simmers who had StrangerVille installed as well.
Dine Out
- Food was sometimes not able to be ordered or delivered when the game was exited or reloaded from the Main Menu. But a Sim’s gotta eat after all, so we’ve fixed it.
Realm of Magic
- Two ‘Inferniate’ interactions display on some rugs. As much as some hate those rugs’ patterns, only one ‘Inferniate’ is more than enough.
Laundry Day
- Clothes moved to the clothing line to dry were not getting dry. We’ve reduced the moisture in the air and it should work now.
Moschino
- yfHair_SP15SlickedBackLong was displaying with a grey line. “Not that there’s anything wrong with a little gray,” says SimGuruNinja reflectively touching his hair.
- “Take Photo Of” was allowed to target unmet NPC Sims. Creepy and awkward for sure. Go meet them first for goodness sake like a normal human.
- Freelance Photographer Sims can now see all proper tasks for gigs ‘Genius Professor Outdoor Wear Study’ and ‘Everyday Activities Fashion Shoot.’ So no more excuses for any future lackluster job performance!
- Freelance Fashion Photography Gigs ‘Finding the Essence of Efficiency with Everyday Style’ and ‘Fantastic Formula for Formal Style’ now display correct information for Pay, Due Date, and/or Required Skill Level.
- The Amp Stack (stereoFloor2x1_SP15GEN) now functions as a Stereo, living to its full potential. Rock on!
- Burnt photos would not be charred anymore once placed outside Sims’ inventory. We’ve burnt them all to a crisp and they’ll appear correctly now.
Freezer Bunny- The real one.

Re: The Sims 4: Tiny Living Stuff.
So I deleted almost all of the GoogleDrive links, and my goons are already starting to create/upload mirrors for the 'new' format of TS4 repacks. Very nice!
Also went through the older announcements and deleted the direct downloads/fixed some minor issues, and I came across that announcement, I think it was for "Get Famous" back in late 2018. I posted that "spoiler" which people were supposed to click on (much like with the Forum FAQ here) after reading all instructions, and wow! It messed up quite a few people, who couldn't understand that the orange spoiler simply needed to be clicked on.
That sounds callous and cruel, though to some extent it's also entertaining. I was thinking of doing it again when we release the new project, hopefully just a few days after our normal DLC release of Tiny Living.
By the way, a GoogleDrive link according to the "old repack format" is also in planning, but keep in mind it will be deleted (by us) after a while. Can't tell exactly when though.

And by the way, because I see lots of users now 'camping' at the News/Announcements section, I have all files ready, just need to do a little bit more testing, and will then upload to GoogleDrive.
The announcement isn't coming out until a couple of few hours more, from now.
