Penthouse plot requirements

Hello, 1st I want to thank you for providing us with such a game...
2ndly am not sure if it's only my patch, but I seem to have a problem with using the build mode in the penthouse as it wont save unless I fulfil the plot requirement which is to remove the elevator, mail box and garbage chute.... if I don't remove it then it won't allow me to save... and even if I remove them, save and reenter build mode, it will still ask me the same requirement even though there are none.
Do I need to fix something or is it a bug????

Are you using any mods? What's your game version? Make sure you're playing with 1.62.

 yes i am using 2 career mods and few lots that I have downloaded through the gallery.
As for the version I am playing the latest one that was uploaded here (1.62)

Nice. Try the game without any mods or custom content, let us know what happens.

 i did as you asked, disabled mods and CC, restarted the game but the problem was still there, am not sure what has caused it since am not the only one who seems to have a problem with in game lot building mode.

Did you rename your entire The Sims 4 folder inside your Documents to something else and started a new game from scratch to test it out? Or did you just disable Mods and CC on your menu? I hope the game doesn't have a glitch or, if it does, I hope they fix it on 1.63
