Somebody please help, very confused! Sims. [SOLVED]

Hi!

I know it was stupid but I updated to the version of Sims that Games4TheWorld told us not to, I done it before I read what they said.
I haven't been able to play for a week and have just downloaded Showtime, can I just install showtime and it will work again or do I need to apply a fix or something? Thanks for your help in advance.

install showtime as normal and then download the Updated Ultimate fix which is here www(.)mediafire(.)com/?4v296umhvcna1bk
