Problems with Sims 3 Master Suite Stuff.[SOLVED]

So I already had The Sims 3 game downloaded. I decided to get the expansion pack on TPB by Games4theWorld

I downloaded it, and also downloaded the fix that came recommended and copied the files it told me to copy, to the Games Bin. It was working well and loaded up, I created a Sim and chose a house, however when I went into build mode, I could not change the flooring, I clicked it but nothing happened, after this the game crashed.

NOTE: It did say when I first loaded it up:

"It looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of The Sims 3. We recommend that you either unistall these game modifications or get updated versions of them - otherwise you may experience crashes or significant bugs.

Do you want to quit?"

Any help is appreciated.

Hey, thanks for the reply, I've installed the fix you linked me to (second link you gave me) I'll try the v1.32 fix.

EDIT: Yeah, I'm on version 1.28 - I'll have to update it.

I installed version 1.31, but when I tried to manually install the next
update I couldn't get past the step in regedit where you have to change
the value, this is all I get:

No, I downloaded The Sims 3 from The Pirate bay also.

Hi there, I managed to find the SKU and replace the number with 2 thanks to you, but now even though I am using the manual patch I get this:



Any ideas?

When you read this: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v132-fix-manual-patch-updated , note that you should NOT skip step 1. Even if you're already on v1.31, still use that patch!

I did use that patch, as I was on 1.28 to begin with.
