The Sims 3 Pets

Hello, I have downloaded The Sims 3 base game and installed the generations expansion, town life expansion and Master Suite expansion successfully. However, on installing The Sims Pets, I have experienced a problem whereby it closes the game after declaring:

"It looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of the Sims 3. We recommend that you either uninstall these game modifications or get updated versions of them - otherwisew you may experience crashes or significant bugs. Do you want to quit"

On this, I pressed the "quit" button and downloaded the Sims 3 fix where I followed the instructions but in vain. Can you please help me out by telling me what I did wrong or what I should do? Thanks

Ok. I will do so. I have downloaded all the expansion packs and is there any particular order to install the expansion packs or should I just follow the usual guidelines i.e install without cracks and apply ultimate fix? Thanks

One last question is on a facebook group entitled "The Sims 3 Houses", you have links o download ready made houses from media fire. Will this dowload affect my game or is it safe to download and use? Thanks a lot for answering. You've been of great help.
