Installing Full Sims 3/Expansions/Stuff. [SOLVED]

First, I wanna thank everyone at games4theworld for having The Sims 3 and other downloads up. It's really great. I just have a few questions on installing expansions in accordance with the "*MUST READ* How to install The Sims 3 correctly."
1) In the Installation guide for Ambitions, it tells me a specific order on which to install. "(Be sure you Install in this order: The Sims 3, World Adventures, High End Loft Stuff, Ambitions)" Does this matter at all because there's no reference of any order at all on the "MUST READ."

2) In the Installation guide for World Adventures and Town Life, after changing the regedit to 2, it tells me to open the crack, open crack 1, etc. However, in the "MUST READ" it says not to use any cracks at all. How would I go on to install?

3) In the base The Sims 3 game, I replaced the TS3 already in the games/bin with the one from the crack. Am I fine?

4) Can I download CC with the updated base game/expansions from, let's say, thesimsresources and elsewhere?

It worked until step 11. It gives me an invalid file error. I downloaded the manual patch, but when I try to execute the manual patch, a pop-up comes up. It says:
