My sim can't go to work

My sim used to be an acrobat and it worked fine, then I quit the job because I was bored. I joined the criminal career and stuff, and when it was the time for my sim to go to work she just wouldn't go. I couldn't even click the carpool, there were no interactions, so I clicked the work building and choose "work" and the picture of my sim in that blue thingy that is in the bottom of the screen disappeared, and my sim disappeared too, and a second later reappered in other place in the house. I thought the problem was the career or something so I changed her to another career but it did the exact same thing, I tried putting "resetsim My Sim Name" in the cheat box but it didn't work either. My other sim has a job and it works fine, so idk. Btw this is happening in Starlight Shores, just in case that's useful, idk.

Two things:

1. Do you have any Mods and/or Custom Content?
2. Which version of the game do you have? 1.29, 1.31, 1.33 etc?

I only have the error trap, so that's not the problem, my game is version 1.33

Try this:

1. Go to Documents\Electronic Arts\
2. Notice the "The Sims 3" folder.
3. Drag & drop this folder to your Desktop and remove it from your Documents.
4. Start the game and let us know the result. Good luck!

Oh, of course it will work that way, it works fine in other saves, even with other sims in the same save, it only happens with that specific sim

Yes, I updated it when I updated the game to 1.33, and it records an error when the sim disappears and reappears

Ok, master controller didn't work. And something new happened now, my singer sim, in the same save game (that hadn't worked since the error with the other sim happened, since she was pregnant) now can't work either. Whenever I tell her to do an audition for a show she disappears and reappears on her house and the error trap records an error. If I tell her to perform at a simfest she goes to the stage, disappears and the game just crashes to the desktop.
