Can't Install Lunar Lakes.[SOLVED]

Hello!! Hate to be a bother, but after 2 weeks of trying off and on, I decided to ask the experts.

Ok, here goes...

So, I have your Sims downloads, Base to Showtime, expansions and stuff pack. I have been trying to install both Hidden Springs and Lunar Lakes, oddly enough, I had Riverview installed fine, I say had, as I did the manual patch, removed modification content, which is the error I get before the installation fail message, and I also uninstalled all of the games, re installed, then, before re-adding my backed up files, I tried installing both, still getting the error message. I have not added the backup content, as I'd hoped I could get this fixed before I tried to play again. I did the patch updates before I tried to uninstall/re-install, that way no mods would be in the files, but they still won't add to the game. So I come to you, tired and head aching. What ever shall I do?


Also, game updated to 1.32. Still downloading 1.33 manual update. Gameplay is working fine, also.

I have tried the method you gave, and the same failed error is given on the installer box.

I've tried it. Manual update, then I uninstalled the base again, updated again, still getting the unofficial mod error and installation failed notification.

I uninstalled all but the base, after slowly deleting all but the Showtime expansion, then deleting it to, and oddly enough, still fail when adding on. But the game is still working and completely up to date.

Success!!! Amazingly enough, it was actually a simple error I over looked, but went back to when this almost same error occurred when updating my PS3. The files were incomplete. I had both Barnacle Bay and Riverview downloaded, but Lunar Lakes and Hidden Springs weren't, they were downloaded months ago, but only recently added, the Files for HS and LL only partially downloaded, but gave complete messages, so I didn't think to check the files size to be sure it was true. I feel so silly now, because it was so simple! But I thank you for helping me with the problem! I am so grateful for it!!
