Need help in installing Lunar Lakes.[SOLVED]

Hey there,i need some help in installing Lunar Lakes as the launcher tells me to update my Sims 3 game to the latest version but if i do,i can't play the whole game.Any idea? Help

Hi,i didn't update my game at all but when i try to install Lunar Lakes,the launcher tells me that i need to update my game in order to install it..

Hi, nope it doesn't mention any software failure.I have Sims 3 pets installed only..

Hey by the way,we shouldn't update our Sims 3 to version 1.31 right?I'm reinstalling The Sims 3 and the expansion packs again to see whether i missed out any steps and i'm gonna try Late Night Smile

Hello,
No, don't update to 1.31 just yet. Use the manual 1.29 patch instead to prevent your game from being updated too far.
if you're reinstalling, don't forget you need to restart your pc when uninstallation is complete.

O and may i ask,after i install the base game Sims 3,do i install the manual patch or install the expansion packs then install the manual patch?what about the ultimate fix?do i download the temporary fix one(since others are not working)?

Please let us know the result, and don't hesitate to post if you have questions or problems.

I'd recommend using the 1.29 patch right after installing the base game prior to installing any expansions. The "not working" fix is still working with patch 1.29, so its best to get that one and after you finish installing all your expansions, apply step 13 only as to avoid patching to 1.31.

Hmm i've reinstalled the base game and installed pets then late night
but the patch v1.31 is out,should i update it or just install lunar
lakes and play? Ermahgerd

Hey there,when i tried to install Lunar Lakes,a message box appeared
saying i've installed an unofficial game modification that does not
match my curernt version of Sims 3.They recommend me to either uninstall
these game modifications o get updated version of them else i may
experience crashes or significant bugs WhatDidUJustCallMe?

Should i Quit or Continue?

Hmm,my Late Night expansion pack isn't working i think..i double click it on my desktop and the launcher pops out and i start game but the loading page is Pets expansion pack >_<

Hello,
That's normal, your game will always load with the loadingscreen of the newest expansion, but the late night features are there, don't worry.
