The Sims 3 : Pets Help

I bought the sims 3 pets and everything is fine except for the cats and dogs. the dogs faces are black and the cats is the same why. I checked my graphics card and its already updated. I wonder why its doing this.

hi lady eldi its me anne,i ask if is needed to installed generations and town life stuff to apply the ultimate fix?because i uninstalled my generations and im installed only 1 expansions it is showtime!!! pls reply
