Ive just downloaded and installed the sims 3 pets but cant play because it says i need a disk any ideas?

Hello,

Did you use the fix?
If you haven't, please download it now along with the manual patch.
After applying both, your disc error should be gone. Read the fix's installationguide carefully, and apply the patch in stead of step 11.

Ive just relised where ive made a mistake. i have a proper copy of the sims 3 and cant find the game folder? is there so where else i can place the fix?

Did you buy the game on discs, via Origin or via Steam?

I bought the game on disc when it first came out

Please show us a screenshot of the folder you copied the crack to. A detailed view please, with file types, date modified, etc.
