I have a problem in sims 3,i followed all the instructions on how to install sims 3 correctly
1.Install the Base Game
2. " " Showtime
3.Update my game
4.Appply the ultimate fix
5.I run the Base Game it turns black and said Unable to start the game service initialization failed (0x024e424f)
6.I run the Showtime same happened,but different message pop out "it looks like you have uinstalled an official game modification that does not match your current version
of the sims 3.We recommended that you either uninstall these game modifications or get updated versions of them-
otherwise you may experience carshes or significant bugs.Quit the game?"

pls help me!!!

hey, i was having the SAME EXACT PROBLEM.

he explained it to someone having the same problem.
i was so confused but i watched the video, and it helped out a ton. i finally got it working (:

Hello,

Not both, you need AT LEAST one of the following expansions: Pets, Showtime, Generations, Master Suite Stuff, Town Life Stuff.

So, is your problem solved now?

Hello,

Please remain calm. We're in another time zone.
Just Showtime is enough to use the fix.
If you have installed the base game, and Showtime, all that is left is to download and apply the manual patch and apply the fix.
