Hi,
I have a probelm in my sims 3,i followed all the instructions
1.Install the Base Game(i have cd)
2.Install Final version patch (this patch Sims3_1.0.632.00002_from_1.0.631.00002.exe what kind of patch that ? 1.31?1.32? or 1.33
3.Copy the TS3.exe and TSLHost.dll to c:/Program files(x86)/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/Game/Bin
4.Install the Generations and Showtime (i download from games4theworld.forumotion.com)
and when the installation complete i copy the both files in the showtime folder to c:/Program files(x86)/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/Game/Bin
5.Apply the Ultimate fix(i copy the both files in #crack folder and paste through c:/Program files(x86)/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/Game/Bin
i start the game ,the games open it works then after 3 days that i didn't play and when i start the game turns black screen theres a message poped out "Unable to start the game

Hello,

Please show us a screenshot of the folder you copied the crack to, preferably a detailed view that also has file types and date modified.

Hello,

Open the folder and use the Print Scrn button on your keyboard. A standard keyboard has this button on top next to F12.
Now, open a program that allows you to edit an image. Paint will do. From the menu, choose Edit -> Paste and your screenshot shows up. Save it and upload it to imageshack or another site like it and post it here as an image or a link.
If you're unable to post a link, simply add some spaces next to the dots.
Alernatively, you can post the image as an attachment to your post by using the Post Reply button on the forum rather than the existing text box. Scroll down a little to find the option to attach a file.

Hello,

After pressing that button, open Paint and press [CTRL] + [V] on your keyboard to paste the screenshot you just made.
Now save that picture and post it here. (Or upload it to an online photo upload service, like ImageShack)

Hello,

You don't have the crack. Open the fix and look for the #crack folder.
Copy both files inside it to the folder in this screenshot, and allow them to replace the ones in there.

Hello,

Ok it's a little hard to tell, but it looks like you don't have the (right) crack in that folder, so open the fix, and find the #crack folder, and copy those files to this folder.
And those EK_Files/EX_Files don't don't belong there.

I'll just delete your previous post. As you may be aware, we're doing this as a hobby and we do have real-life responsibilities outside the forum.
Please show us a new screenshot of the bin folder, a little larger if possible.
Are you using any mods/cc at all?

I've got the same problem... same error. Please help?!
I've installed several expensions and accesoires of the Sims 3. I also installed the latest fix and #crack (yes, in the right folder.. of the base game and not of the expension directory), but i keep getting this error by starting up: -the-sims-3-0x024e424f-error. I've looked in several topics, and followed the steps like these , but nothing works... Can someone help me?

My base game and high-and-loft stuff are orignal software.

My pc has way more than the minimum system recommendation, so that ain't the problem.
Hope someone can help me.

Please open a new topic, it'll be easier for us to keep trak of everything, and to provide more personal support.
Kindly add a screenshot of the base game\bin which shows a detailed view of all the files in there.

It doesn't works at all, this was i do
1.Uninstall My Base game,and EP Showtime
2.restart my PC
3.Install my base game and my expansion
4.Update to 1.33
5.Apply the Latest Version of the Fix,I copy the both files in #Crack Folder to c:/Program Files(x86)/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/Game/Bin
6.Start the game

Same message popped out:Service Initialization Failed (0x024e424f)

Hello,

Do you have a mods folder in (my)documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3? If you don't, please show another screenshot of the base game\bin folder.
