About to go insane (sims 3)

Ok, so I downloaded the sims 3, world adventures, ambitions, late night, generations, and pets.. followed the ultimate fix guide, and started to play, first, the pop up comes up saying i have unofficial game mods, blah blah, so i just put continue and play, make some of my old families from sims 2, everything good so far, couldn't figure out how to make them buy land to build a house though.

Problem was anytime i went into build/buy mode, the game froze, it would just load and load and load. then i noticed it wasn't updated properly, so i got the manual update and went from 1.26 to 1.33, still the same problems, plus it still says the old version number on the start menu (bottom left) it says 10.0.96.015001.. didn't change.. (edit) never mind, only noticed where to see the version now)

i have both the program files, and program files x86, both with sims folders, and i tried putting the cracks in both, pets crack in sims 3/bin, etc, doesn't work..

what am I missing? i want to play so bad..

Please re-download and re-apply the Ultimate Fix. Note that you should not copy any files to the following folders: Pets, Generations, Town Life Stuff, Showtime, Master Suite Stuff.
