First topic message reminder :

I've installed all of the expansion in order (The Sims 3 Base, The Sims™ 3 World Adventures, The Sims™ 3 High-End Loft Stuff, The Sims™ 3 Ambitions). I did everything how it showed me... but when i started the launcher it said i needed a update (from 4.00.87 to 4.2.32) .....
i updated it but at the end it says "Update Error: Invalid file found"........what should i do???

Hello,

First, Mount both Images. When the Installation asks for Disk 1, click 'Browse' and select óne of the two Mounted Images. If you get an error, just click the other Image you Mounted. When the Installation asks for Disk 2, do the same. The Installation should go on now.

I got a retail base game and installed it. The games updated, but when I try to install custom content or play, it still has the same message as above. I clicked "continue" for both and they seem to work fine, but most of the custom content does not stay installed, but resets everytime I open the launcher.

I just bought the retail version yesterday. I deleted the cc that didn't work.

CC I download directly from thesims3.com works fine, than you, but I can't access shop mode for CC. I went to the website and saw where the button is supposed to be, but when I play my game, the button does not exist.

This page shows where the shop mode icons should be. Look at the third one from Create-A-Sim.

Owh I see. reinstall Ambitions should fix this problem;

1. Uninstall The Sims 3: Ambitions.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Reinstall the Game.
4. Apply this fix: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/fixes-f18/the-sims-3-error-0x039e8474-fix-t451.htm
5. See if it works now.

I did the above and it still has this message:

"It looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of The Sims 3. We recommend that you either uninstall these game modification or get updated versions of them - otherwise you may experience crashes or significant bugs.

Do you want to quit?"

The game plays, but the Shop Mode buttons are still absent, so no change overall.

Hi,

Well, this could mean two things; Or you placed the Cracks in the wrong folder(s) ór you should consider Installing our new Fast Lane Stuff release to see if it'll fix the problem(s).

I'm also getting this same problem but i can also play the game but can't update but im happy to just play the game. But would love to update it eventually
