Re: The Sims 3 Update: Invalid File Found. [SOLVED]
I have exactly the same problem, stuck at step nr. 12.
Everything is in the right folders like shown in above post.
Did not use step 14/the cracks yet.

Hello,
Looking at your launcher, you don't have Town Life Stuff, so you shouldn't have replaced Generations in The Sims 3\game\bin

Hello,
You get this error when you copy a set of files to the wrong folder.
Some people say that they copied a file (e.g.) to The Sims 3\Game\Bin, but in reality they copied it to: The Sims 3 Town Life Stuff\Game\Bin
Please read this: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1850-i-installed-the-sims-3-generations-and-or-town-life-stuff-but-it-keeps-asking-please-insert-cd-dvd-fix
You SHOULD'NT copy ANYTHING to the Town Life Stuff ánd Generations folder!

Hello,
Yes, just contact me via the Forum's chatbox when I'm online.
Besides, which files exactly did you copy? You SHOULD NOT copy the files from the "# Crack" folder BEFORE updating, but AFTER updating!

Calm down, just log in and wait for me. Don't log in and then log out.
