help! my sims 3 always crash whenever i try to move in a household

can somebody help me please? its kinda annoying...
i have updated my sims (currently, i have installed sims 3 base along with pets and generation), i also applied the ultimate fix you provided...
everything went smoothly until the "moving in" part...

my base game is sims 3
on my first installation, i applied the ultimate fix but no i did not receive the error
i tried re-installing, i applied the fix again, i even did the DEP thing... but it still crashes while loading (with the sims 3 pets logo loading)...

Hello,
If you're using mods, try disabling them temporarily by dragging and dropping the mods folder to your desktop from My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3, if it works, one of your mods might be outdated or conflicting.
Alternatively, you can use Delphy's Dashboard to find out if any of your mods are conflicting.

turns out i just had to change it to window mode and adjust my power setting... sorry... and thanks
