Installing Shop Updates

Well i have this problem like for ever.
At first i thought myself **** it then play without all the custom Furniture and stuff but because im missing quite some variety,
I finally thought about asking someone to help me.
My Issue is that if I try to install .Sims3Pack data the Launcher opens its getting Installed without problems,
but as i go in game everything that i Installed which is actually marked as Installed in the Launcher wont show in game
Its quite frustrating and I hope somebody is able to help me
