Sims 3 stuck at version 10.0.96.015001 (I installed everything correctly!)

Yesterday I followed all the instructions on https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly
But my Sims launcher still says I have version 10.0.96.015001; I've downloaded the manual update on the site above at least 3 times and no matter how many times I press the refresh button on my launcher, it says I'm up to date...
I have Sims 3 base, Generations, Ambitions, Late Night, and Pets.
I use Windows 7...
I actually played it yesterday without any errors, but why does my launcher say version 10.0.96.015001? It is worrying me.

Hello,
Your launcher version doesn't say much about your game version. The numbers you see depend on your base game version, which expansions you're using and at which patch level the expansions are.
That it starts with 10, for example, means you have up to "pets" installed. If you had "Master Suite", it would say 11.xxx and if you also had "Showtime" it would be 12.xxx.
Open your launcher and have a look at your basegame version as shown in the image below. If it's 1.33, your game is up to date.

Thanks, I checked and my Sims base is 1.33!

Hi! I did what you said to check the base game, also, but mine just says "The Sims 3" and lists no version...I have a Mac, if that makes a difference.
