Sims 3 Pets Errors with Deluxe

Ive been looking around, and my brain is going numb currently. I just recently installed the G4TW Sims 3 Pets game. Well, more so downloaded.
By that, I mean, I can't install it at all. It tells me it needs to update, then it does the "Updating Game" thing. After that, it tells me there was an error and cancels the update. This is with Pets.
I do have the Deluxe version as well, but it is not with the G4TW version. And I can't seem to update the deluxe one properly, because when I use the Manual Fix, the game starts, tells me I have "unofficial mods" and may cause problems. It goes to the first loading bar, and from there it just shuts down completely.
Maybe I am doing something wrong? I don't know.
When I go to use the launcher, to "refresh" to see if there is an update, it just says there is an error, and shuts down.
I'm sorta lost on where to go or start from.

Hello,
The "deluxe" version probably isn't compatible with additional expansions because it's a modified installer.
You'll have to download the unmodified game + expansions.
There's no need to loose any progress though, if you decide to download and install unmodified games. You can backup your save games and use them later.
