Create NPC-characters?
I'm currently making a huge castle in which i want my sims to have servants. Not just the butler and a maid but a "live in" gardener, maids, stableboy and cook. Is it possible to make this happen? I don't want to control them but simply have them living in the same house... Same thing with a few pets, I love to have lots of pets around but if I don't control them they don't really take care of themselves. Please give me some tips

Hello,
You could do that with this mod. The documentation for that mod is available here. Scroll down to the "Sims" interactions to find how.
But, you can't make them a maid or a cook. If you want them to fulfill those roles, give them the appropriate traits. There's also the risk they'll go out and find a job. So you'll also need a mod to disable them finding a job. You'll need Master Controller to give them the "retired" career which will prevent them from finding a job, or use Story Progression to disallow careers for these specific sims.
That combined with the appropriate traits will probably give you a pretty accurate approximation of the roles you want them to fulfill.

Great! Thank you, I have both Story progression and Master controller working now and they do have the right traits.

Hello,
Excellent! I'd be glad to hear if it works out all right, I might do the same thing in my "Medieval" themed world.

Re: Create NPC-characters?
Finaly got around to trying this (on my new PC! Yay!) And it's working to make the wanted sim turn NPC. The portrait is still there though and i fixed it with the Portraitpanel thing from NRaas. They still take up space though which is a bit silly. Still better than nothing

Hello,
You can overcome that by allowing more than 8 sims in a household with Master Controller.

Even using master controller, you won't be able to "try for baby", but you can bypass that using master controller. You can pollinate her, which is just like having had her try for baby successfully. I believe the path to get to that is Master controller --> basic --> pollinate. then you select the parent sims. Now you've got a pregnant queen.

LOL
Try invalidusername's suggestion though rather than trying to get her pregnant yourself
(just messing with you, but her advice is good, it will work that way)
