Sims 3 downloading problem

When I double click the start disck it takes me to the files with autorun.exe when i click that I get an error message saying The version of this file is not compatable with the version of your windows... Im running a 64 bit so Idk whats wrong I have had sims 3 on here before but it got deleted long long time ago when the computer was restored.
Do I need winrar and unzip the files with that I used express zip so could that be the problem? :newfag:
My mounted disk drives look different than the ones in your installation video...

Hello,
Yes, you need winRAR. With another program, the files can become messed up, resulting in all kinds of error during installation.

I got it to work.. Just need to download some expansion packs.
