The Sims 3 Pets Crash.. HELP?
Hello,
after hours of installing The Sims 3 Pets, I was very happy to be able to play it. It all ran well until I moved a family in. I started on Buy Mode, and started purchasing things. Before long, the game crashed and a messaged saying "The Sims 3 has stopped responding."
I tried just about everything. Including the DEP.
Any advice?

Hello,
What about the Windows 95 compatibility mode?
Also, do you have any Mods or Custom Content?

Hello,
It's the striked out step before the DEP. It's better not to do it anyway.
Try this, please:
1. Go to: Documents\Electronic Arts\ . You'll see a folder called "The Sims 3".
2. Drag & drop this folder to your Desktop and remove it from your Documents.
3. Now restart the game and start a new neighbourhood/game.
Let us know the result. Good luck!

Re: The Sims 3 Pets Crash.. HELP?
Yes, all of them except for the one with the graphics card. But I'm not sure how to do that one..
//EDIT
Okay, new problem.
So I uninstalled Pets, and downloaded Late Night.
But I have the CD for Late Night. All was well, until a few minutes into
game play. Then it crashed. Do you think maybe it's my Sims 3 base
game? Should I try to reinstall it?

Hello,
There's a very small chance that that would fix your problem. Where did you get your base game from exactly?
Also, what is your base game's version? It starts with 1.xx.xx.

I bought it. I have the CD.
The base game worked fine until I downloaded Pets.
And the version is 1.34.27

Hello,
Good, two more things:
1. Is the CD original or is it a pirated disc? (In some countries they sell pirated discs)
2. Did the base game install via Origin?

Re: The Sims 3 Pets Crash.. HELP?
It was original, and yes, I installed it with Origin.
BUT, I tried reinstalling it, and for some reason my disc cracked, so I downloaded The Sims 3 from you guys, Games4theworld. So hopefully it works now..
So apparently it didn't work. Crashed yet again.

Hello,
When applying the Fix, please note that the game\bin folder for your situation is located in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin

Ohhhh! That makes a lot of sense. Haha.
Well, I uninstalled Origin before you posted that, and for the most part it's worked okay. Though it does crash sometimes...

Re: The Sims 3 Pets Crash.. HELP?
Hello,
Laptops generally aren't meant for playing games, so games like The Sims 3 may run with lag. Try playing the game on lowest graphic settings and turning off extra features like "Mirror reflection".
Also, please tell me your graphic card's model and what Operating System you're on. (And whether it's a 32- or 64-bit system)
