Sims 3 Pets Crash! Help! [SOLVED]

Okay so im sorry if this is a double post but ive looked all over or a fi for this and i havent found anything! Ive installed the sims 3 Pets expansion and everything loads fine... after i have created a pet and moved it into a household, its still fine... until i try to look at the pet... when i double click on it, it starts to pan towards it but then freezes and crashes just beore the pet comes into view! I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the pets expansion but it has not worked... is there a way for me to fix this without having to uninstall all my epansions? As that is sumthin that i dont really want to do... but if theres no other way i will hav to... Any help will be appreciated...

Do you have any Mods or Custom Content?

I do... but i hav already tried removing it temporarily by deleting the folder... however it still crashes... it seems as i its a graphical problem... coz it only crashes when i tr y to hover over pets....

ok so i found that it only happens with the one household... i tried
other households and the pets load fine... could be because i imported
the household from another world before i installed pets

In that case, I guess that save is "corrupt".
Let's see, when you navigate to: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves , do any of your saves have a .backup or .bad extension?

Well i dunno... i deleted the save... just started a new one so dont worry.... I i have any problems with this game ill let post it here... Thanx for the help though...
