Problem with The sims 1 full edition

Hi, i hava downloaded the sims 1 full edition, have done everythingg according to the instructions but it doesn't work. When i click start, there is this starting screen, then the screen becomes black and it's the end of my gameplay... I think it cam be because i am on win.Vista but i have played the sims 1 delux on this computer and it was fine... Could anybody help me with this??

No, the game should work fine on Vista too.
Please start the game as an administrator; right-click on the .exe file and choose "Run as admin".
