Problem with Sims 3 Pets installer. [SOLVED]

I tried to install the Sims 3 Pets with the Sims already installed from a torrent file that came from games4theworld.
But it keeps on saying that the installer cannot verify the integrity of the installer, and says to click ok to close.

Is there a way to fix this problem? I tried the orginal Pets and the fixed version.

Did you extract the downloaded .rar first, using Stuffit Expander?
And then created an image out of the extracted files?

I did use stuffit exploder to extract the files
but what do you mean making an image from the files?

I got it from the games4theworld download site.

I don't think that it would do much good, as I tried it with another download, but the installer still said the same thing.

Was the other download a special Mac version of the game?

I download a new version of a reloaded Sims like Lady EIDi told me to, and I will try downloading pets again. I will give mor news later if I have problems.

And there comes to the first problem. It keeps on saying that the installer cannot verify the integrity of the installer! And oh yeah. What did you mean when to like create a image from the files I got from the rar file? It should help me

I did get the Installer to work by making an image with the files.
But now it says that it cannot install because it is not in the right version.
Should I update with the manual patch provided at games4theworld?

After I updated with that manual patch, and installed Pets, the Ultimate Fix worked! Thanks admin and Lady ElDi!
