serious problem helpp!!!!!! [SOLVED]

i recently downloaded the sims 3 showtime and i have alot of cc but my fog machines wont work :S please help when i move out the mods folder it works perfectly fine how should i remove the cc that are effecting my game !!!!!!

What if you remove (read: backup) all Mods & Custom Content?

ty admin and lady eldi i figured it out it was my mods folder that was causing the problem ty

Well it could be one specific mod. If you have time, you can go through and test small groups of them to find out where the issue lies, that way you don't have to get rid of all of your mods.

Depending on how many you have, I would suggest backing up the mods, then removing them from the original folder. Now you can put in ten or so at a time, and see what group is causing the problem. Once you figure that out, you can narrow it down even further by testing them by themselves. Or, you can go through and see what ones need to be updated. I think I remember a similar problem being caused by an outdated no mosaic mod, if you have one of those.
