Could someone help me about this?

I have installed The Sims 3 until Generations, and it was working fine. But when i want to install The Sims 3 Town Life Stuff, It says that "The Sims™ 3 needs to be updated before this product can be installed. Setup will now attempt to update The SIms™ 3. Do you wish to continue?" I click yes, and for several hours thats not changed. Can someone help me? My Generations was on 8.0.152.011001 version. PLEASE Can't Install The Sims™ 3 Town Life Stuff. [SOLVED] 2830496658 me!

Hello,

Download and apply the manual patch before proceeding to install Town Life Stuff. After this, your base game is completely up to date and you won't be prompted to update. Do not use Town Life Stuff's crack, use the one from the fix instead.

Ok, try to redownload the patch (perhaps even with a different browser) and don't interrupt the download at any point.

I'm using Google Chrome.
It can help to turn off anything else that might take up bandwith, like your torrentclient.
