sims 3 not responding

I installed ambitions, generations, late night and showtime. (I bought the base game and have it installed) I open the game and the screen is black and says Not Responding and if i wait awhile sometimes it looks like the screenshot. I have tried tp open the game without using the launcher, and still same problem. I have no cc or mods. I added all the .exe files to dep. I checked my graphic card. Before all this i installed the manual patch and ultimate fix.
I'd like ot know how to fix this, thanks.

Please download and apply this GPU update: http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/win7-winvista-64bit-301.42-whql-driver-uk.html
During the installation choose "Custom" and then "Clean installation".

After it finished installing, please restart your PC. Now try again.

I don't know why but it failed the installation. After i restarted my computer windows wanted me to update my driver so I did that, restarted my computer again and the sims 3 still acts the same. Black screen and says Not Responding.

OK, then try like this:

1. Open Windows Update and update all available updates, including all "Optional" updates.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Re-download this driver: http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/win7-winvista-64bit-301.42-whql-driver-uk.html
4. Install the driver and choose "Custom installation" followed by "Clean installation", during the installation wizard.
5. After it finished updating, restart your PC.

See if the update works now. Good luck!

The update and the driver installation was successful but the Sims 3 still acts the same way.

Try going to your Documents\Electronic Arts\ and note the folder called "The Sims 3".
Copy that folder to your Desktop and completely remove it from your Documents.

Now test the game and let us know the result.

It still acts the same.
